Hello and welcome to my portfolio! A little about me… For starters, my name is Ashlee Verba and I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in Spanish. After college I intend to get my master’s degree in secondary education so that I can eventually teach aspiring high school journalists. My journey into journalism has been filled with peaks and valleys but what I have learned through my trek is that there’s no feeling like the fulfillment of writing a great piece. Included in this site is a range of work I’ve done for the Reynold’s School of Journalism – some good, some better. It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there and I’m just making my way one piece at a time.
